Congratulations to two of my favorite people on a milestone day! I have no idea if you will ever read this blog post but here are my thoughts of you guys… in public.
Chris: There’s no other brother that has provided me with such unbiased, straight-up advice than you. Thank you for being there to clear my head when I needed it. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to write me emails when I needed them. Thank you for just being a cheerful and joyous person in the Lord, you are truly a model Christian. I hope your wedding day will be just as cheerful and joyous. Oh, thank you for killing alien goons with me too.
Sabrina: You are my walking, talking dress guide book. Your untouchable sense of humor and gladness really cause me to truly LOL once in a while. To sit down and have dinner with you is a real treat every time. Whether we’re sharing an awkward joke or a clever insight about a certain perpetually single colleague of ours *cough*, we always end the night laughing at something or other (and you know laughter is an essential component for the soul). I, from this hour forth, am no longer allowed to flash “the wink”. Those days are over and you will only be left with the memory of it.
