The Carlsbad Flower Fields

If you’re coming into San Diego around this time of Spring, you should really check out the Carlsbad Flower Fields. It is an incredible floral spectacle that is well worth the $9 admission price tag. What do you do at the Carlsbad Flower Fields?

Well, there’s a Sweet Pea maze, a Poinsettia tent, and a small playground for the kids called Santa’s Village. For everyone thinking “boring…” don’t. Get in touch with you inner self, take someone you love, or just straight up grab a camera and go shooting there (you can’t take a bad picture). They have impressive acres of flower beds that literally engulf the hillside in brilliant reds, yellows, oranges, and purples. The color of the flowers are simply amazing and something you don’t just see on a regular basis. Do yourself a favor and go once this year. It is off I-5 and Palomar Airport Rd., you definitely can’t miss it.
